Volkswagen bids farewell to the Beetle in this animated video…..
My first auto was a 1964 beetle, I loved that car. This was the car that got me started as a mechanic. It became a super beetle before they were invented. My older brother and both of my sisters also owned VW beetles. In fact I bought my sister’s 69 sedan Autostick when she wanted something safer, that was forty years ago and I still own that car along with my 71 Karmann Ghia Convertible. Sold a few Westfalias that I should have kept, but I’m happy to have the other two. Sorry to see the beetle production come to an end…sad day indeed.
